Terms of Service
Last updated June 23, 2026
Welcome to Athena ("Athena", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Athena platform, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Accounts
You sign in through our authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Tasks and rewards
- Athena offers data-labeling and evaluation tasks. Each task has a posted reward range; the actual amount paid is determined at submission time and may be adjusted by your account level.
- Reward balances are a record of your in-platform earnings. They are not currency and have no value outside the Service until they are successfully withdrawn.
- Sloppy, automated, or fraudulent answers may result in account suspension, balance forfeiture, or both.
- Daily task limits and minimum withdrawal amounts depend on your plan (Basic, Vip, or Ultra) and may change over time.
4. Third-party brands and trademarks
Tasks may reference third-party company names and logos for illustration and identification only. Such references do not imply any partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Tasks are simulated and contain no real data from those companies. See our Disclaimer for full details.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to interact with tasks.
- Create or operate more than one account.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute task content or platform data.
- Interfere with the Service or attempt to gain unauthorized access.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or harms other users, third parties, or Athena. On termination for cause, any pending or unwithdrawn balance may be forfeited.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athena disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Athena will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of the amount paid out to you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Athena and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
10. Dispute resolution and arbitration
Please read this section carefully — it affects how disputes between you and Athena are resolved.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small-claims court if your claim qualifies. The arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis.
You and Athena waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. Disputes will be brought only in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. If any part of this section is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue to apply.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State in which Athena is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where arbitration does not apply, the exclusive venue for disputes is the state and federal courts located there.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance.
